Located in Wujiang city, CIYUN Corporation is an oldest and large-scale manufacturer of flavors and fragrances in China. The company was founded in 1946, and it used to be a state-owned winery and state-run perfume factory. Since 1998 it has transformed to be a joint-stock limited company. CIYUN Company has been awarded lots of honors such as 鈥淐hinese Well-known Trademark鈥, 鈥淗igh New Technical Enterprise in Jiangsu鈥, 鈥100 Strong Enterprises in Jiangsu鈥, 鈥淛iangsu Top Brand Products鈥, and 鈥滼iangsu Famous Trademark鈥. It took a very short time for CIYUN to pass the ISO9001 and the KOSHER international authentication.
In the late 1970s we started to produce synthetic spices 鈥斺擡thyl Caproate, and got a number of new technology production patents. We pioneer China鈥檚 first Liquor and Spice Blending technology which results in a upgrading of Chinese wine industry. As a result we have achieved a low-cost and large-scale business model on liquor production. Because of our continuous technical innovations and strict controls on products鈥 quality, CIYUN has achieved an unshakable leadship in the field of liquor spices in China after 60 years鈥 efforts.
In 1990s, because of long-term technical R&D, CIYUN has broken the long-term foreign monopoly on the Savoury Essences鈥 raw materials. We are the first to develop and produce the Heterocyclic Sulfur spices used on producing Savoury Essences. Our products are low in price, high in quality, supplied with the price that is 50% below the foreign products鈥. Our efforts have promoted the development of domestic food industry such as instant noodles, ham and frozen meat products.
